You didn’t take what i wanted to give.
So i went away.

Gave my love to another.
To the one who wanted to take it all.

Goodbye Starman

The starman has returned to the sky

The man who was made from stardust,

Earth was never his place.

Now he is home, along side the other stars,

Other misfits.

There was nothing we could do.

He was here to blow our minds,

and it was all worth while.

The starman was our hero,

And it seemed it was just for one day.

But we can not blame him for walking away.

It was never his place.

The man of many faces,

His song will go on forever.

 

Goodbye starman.

I’ll just smile sadly knowing,

that you were and forever will be part of my world.
